Job Title: CDL Class A Driver

About the Role:

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials to our distribution centers and retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials to our distribution centers and retail stores
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery and pick-up activities
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight limits

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A license with hazardous materials endorsement
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CDL Class A Driver
  • Excellent driving record, with no more than one minor moving violation in the past year
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
