As a Delivery Driver at 4530 - GAINES MARKETPLACE - JIMMY JOHN'S, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and with a smile. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently transport food and beverages to our valued customers, providing exceptional customer service and representing our brand in a positive light.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take phone orders and accurately complete delivery tickets.
  • Check deliveries for accuracy and ensure that orders are fulfilled to our high standards.
  • Drive safely and obey all applicable laws, maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
  • Deliver orders in a timely manner, ensuring that customers receive their food fresh and hot.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, providing a positive experience.
  • When requested, take phone orders, accurately record orders, and make change as needed.
  • Prepare food according to Jimmy John's guidelines, ensuring that orders are accurate and of high quality.
  • Help maintain a clean and sanitary environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Dress in a clean uniform, representing our brand with pride.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to interact with employees, customers, and supervisors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English, and interpret operating manuals, instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to accurately count cash and make change.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and grasp throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
