- The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering top-tier healthcare services.
- Takes charge of the patient's care setting.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
- Demonstrates leadership, mentorship, and serves as a role model for fellow team members.
- Organizes and assigns care responsibilities within a safe and hygienic environment.
- Integrates evidence-based practices and technologies to enhance patient comfort and recovery.
- Reports to the Nurse Manager.
- Oversees Nurse Externs, Graduate/Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Technicians/Specialty Technicians, Unit Secretaries, and Patient Care Assistants.
Educational Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Preferred: 2-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Must possess a current RN license in Florida.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required.
