Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse with Tecumseh Poultry LLC, you will play a vital role in delivering health and safety programs and services to our workers and worker populations. This position requires a strong commitment to promoting and restoring health, preventing illness and injury, and protecting from work-related and environmental hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct medical history and physical assessments to ensure the health and well-being of our team members.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with team member education related to communicable diseases and provide guidance on workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement health and safety programs that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional occupational health nurse duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Prefer 1+ years' experience in a nursing field, with clinical hours acceptable for graduate nurses.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to walk through the plant to ensure team member and supervisor compliance with prescribed modified restricted duty requirements. Assessing a Team Member in a swift manner and performing CPR if needed.

Travel:

Occasional travel to local clinics and hospitals may be required.
