We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ecumen St. Benedict's Community in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents.

About the Job

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents, including medications and treatment administration, documentation, and other therapeutic interventions under the direction of the Director of Nursing/Clinical Director. You will also provide direction to nursing assistants, resident assistants, trained medication assistants, and other clinical staff on unit/shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to residents within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Coordinate and direct resident care, ensuring seamless transitions and excellent outcomes.
  • Assist Registered Nurses with completion of assessments, documentation, and data collection, acting timely on findings.
  • Administer medications and complete treatments as ordered, observing and monitoring resident condition and reporting changes as appropriate.
  • Maintain safety of all residents and employees, responding appropriately to safety hazards and reporting issues to the appropriate person.
  • Ensure all staff follows infection control policy and procedure, maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and efficiently organized work area.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree from an accredited school of nursing for the Licensed Practical Nurse program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state in which you are working.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Ecumen offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
