This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Job Summary:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and treatment options
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (preferred)
- Current Texas RN license or multi-state compact license
- American Heart Association BLS/ACLS certification
