Position Overview:
We are seeking 3 skilled Critical Care Nurse Practitioners to fulfill ongoing locum tenens assignments, working 10-15 twelve-hour night shifts each month. The shifts will be from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Role Responsibilities:
The selected candidates will be integral members of a dedicated team of Critical Care Providers, actively participating in the management of a 6-bed mixed case intensive care unit (ICU) and intermediate care unit. Responsibilities include responding to rapid response codes and stabilizing patients who are deteriorating, preparing them for transfer to the ICU.
Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in essential clinical procedures, including but not limited to Central Line placement, Chest Tube Insertion, and Intubation. The ability to multitask effectively and work independently is crucial.
Shift Details:
The position requires twelve-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must possess a valid Maryland nursing license and maintain a clean malpractice history.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role ranges from $100 to $115 per hour, depending on experience. Malpractice coverage is provided.
