The IHOP Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth, profitability, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service. Key responsibilities include managing front and back-of-house operations, ensuring consistency in guest interactions, and upholding IHOP's brand image.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations to achieve sales growth and meet company goals in profit and loss categories.
  • Supervise staff, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to company uniform standards.
  • Perform line checks to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels to guarantee guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Interview, hire, and train hourly candidates to maintain high-quality staff.
  • Prepare reports, including Daily Sales Reports, Daily Cash Interims, and Daily Labor controls.
  • Order food, small wares, and other necessary products to maintain operational standards.
  • Identify operational opportunities and create plans to address them.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment, and promptly notify the Area Supervisor in case of accidents or injuries.
  • Protect company assets, including security of storeroom, freezer, and office.
  • Keep the immediate supervisor informed of unit issues and take prompt corrective action.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

The IHOP Restaurant Manager is responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment, promoting IHOP's goals and objectives, and fostering public recognition and acceptance of the brand.
