Role Summary

The Licensed Educator position is dedicated to delivering educational instruction and support to students at the appropriate grade level.   • Identify and implement appropriate interventions to address the academic and behavioral needs of students.
  • Maintain accurate educational documentation, including attendance, grades, lesson plans, and progress assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher, Director of Education, Program Manager, and other relevant personnel to coordinate student activities.
  • Employ state-mandated training techniques to prevent and manage student conflicts and incidents.
  • Supervise and coordinate extracurricular activities, including day trips and recreational events.
  • May be required to transport students and perform other work-related duties.
  • Act as a mentor and positive role model for students at all times.
  • Exhibit professional work habits, including punctuality and regular attendance.
  • Complete and maintain crisis intervention and de-escalation training certifications.
  • Hold current CPR and First Aid certifications from a nationally recognized organization.
  • Maintain all necessary certifications and licenses.
  • Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Work Environment

This role is typically performed in standard office conditions, with occasional exposure to outdoor elements such as heat and inclement weather. Some responsibilities may involve working around moving vehicles, necessitating heightened awareness and adherence to safety protocols.

Physical Requirements

While fulfilling the duties of this position, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively. Occasionally, the Team Member may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
