Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimating Assistant to join our team at Bayne Development Group, LLC. As an Estimating Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our estimators with gathering estimates for materials, labor, and equipment time for projects based on construction codes and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review plans and specifications to determine appropriate methods of construction
  • Apply knowledge of construction materials and trades to calculate costs of building projects
  • Prepare contract pricing proposals for a variety of construction projects
  • Prepare contractor bidding documents per specification for each project
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of project estimates and costs

Requirements:

  • Proficient in computer applications such as: Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
