Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team at a busy Oncology office in Lawrenceville, NJ. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for assisting the physician and staff with daily patient care coordination and physician access.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the physician and staff with daily patient care coordination and physician access.
• Function as the liaison between patients, staff, and physicians, maintaining efficient patient flow.
• Deliver direct patient care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with SMG policy.
• Collect lab specimens according to departmental guidelines, accurately labeling them.
• Prioritize patient care by implementing physician orders and nursing procedures.
• Ensure proper preparation for patient visits, preparing pertinent information needed.
• Effectively communicate problems, concerns, or issues to the Office Supervisor/Manager appropriately and promptly.
• Ensure all patients are correctly identified prior to providing and/or documenting care.

Requirements:

• Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• New Jersey State Nursing License and BLS certification required.
• 0 - 1 years experience, 2-4 years experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3pm/7:30am-4:00pm. Pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.
