Position Overview

Casa Leona Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Case Manager. This role involves providing essential counseling services, leading group sessions, and supporting clients in their journey towards sobriety while fostering vital life skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate both group and individual counseling sessions in accordance with established program guidelines.
  • Create collaborative treatment plans informed by clinical assessments.
  • Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation.
  • Provide education to clients and their families regarding substance abuse interventions.
  • Coordinate referrals to additional healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Assist with discharge planning and connecting clients to appropriate services.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling, particularly in group therapy settings.
  • Proven skills in conflict resolution.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Certification as a counselor in the State of California.

Note: Candidates must fulfill physical, drug screening, and professional presentation criteria. Individuals in recovery from substance use disorders should have at least one year of sobriety.
