About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Realtor Attorney with a strong foundation in closing transactions to manage closing-related documentation and ensure smooth processes. Ideal candidates will have experience with GAR forms, title reading, HUD and CD documentation, and familiarity with real estate agents and their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and manage closing processes for real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy in documentation and client satisfaction.
  • Review and interpret titles, as well as ensure all title documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize closing documents, including HUDs and Closing Disclosures (CDs).
  • Work collaboratively with lenders and real estate agents to facilitate a smooth closing process.
  • Support agents by providing knowledgeable guidance on closing procedures and real estate documentation.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Requirements

  • Experience: Proficient in handling basic closing procedures, with a solid grasp of GAR forms and other relevant real estate documents.
  • Title Expertise: Ability to read and interpret title documents, identifying any potential issues and ensuring compliance.
  • HUD and CD Knowledge: Familiarity with HUD-1 Settlement Statements, Closing Disclosures, and the ability to both review and prepare these documents.
  • Lender Coordination: Experience working with lenders to ensure all financial aspects of the transaction are properly managed.
  • Technology Skills: Experience with Qualia is ideal but not required. Willingness to learn the software if unfamiliar.
  • Real Estate Agent Experience: Direct experience working with real estate agents or a strong understanding of their needs and the flow of real estate transactions.
