**Key Responsibilities**

  • Digitize geographic data from various sources, including hardcopy and scanned images.
  • Create professional maps from preliminary data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Enter and update data into Percheron's project database, adhering to internal protocols.
  • Number property tracts according to client and internal requirements.
  • Produce data deliverables, including kmz files, shapes, geodatabases, reports, and other relevant formats.
  • Convert and transform latitude and longitude data as needed.
  • Map leases from internal and external sources, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Plot legal descriptions and boundaries with precision.
  • Perform standard spatial analysis, including buffering, intersects, selections, and other relevant tasks.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-year degree in a GIS-related field preferred.
  • Entry-level GIS experience, preferably in an oil or gas-related company.
  • Excellent computer skills and technology focus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as Company policies and procedures.
