Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at Wisconsin Country Staffing & Recruiting. As a Diesel Engine Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel-powered vehicles and equipment using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on diesel engines and components, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and battery checks.
  • Inspect equipment and vehicles for potential problems, addressing issues before they lead to major breakdowns.
  • Test and calibrate engines and systems after repair or maintenance to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a diesel mechanic or technician working on diesel engines and related systems.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools such as multimeters, engine analyzers, and pressure gauges.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources to complete tasks.
