Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and trauma cases, and provide critical care to patients as needed.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examination.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed, and to work in a physically demanding environment.
