Main Responsibilities:


Deliver comprehensive medical imaging services to patients, following departmental policies and standards.


Manage patient care and safety, educating patients on procedures and communicating changes in their condition.


Transport patients using stretchers or wheelchairs when necessary, documenting patient history and pertinent information.


Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation, adhering to infection control standards and proper body mechanics.


Respond effectively in emergency situations, obtaining necessary patient consent and performing radiography and quality control testing.


Record and adhere to state required testing and record keeping for annual inspections.

Requirements:


Graduate from an AMA-approved Radiology School/Program.


Valid NJ Radiology License and AART Certification (required); BLS (preferred).
