About the Role

This is a part- and full-time position available on our Med Surg Unit, with varying shifts and hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering personalized care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including hip, knee, shoulder, and spine surgeries. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, pain management, and prevention of complications
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care delivery
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A current Minnesota nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least one year of experience as an RN in a medical-surgical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to providing patient-centered care
