Job Summary

Project Redirect is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities.

About the Role:

  • Provide personalized support and education to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Implement individualized support plans to achieve personal goals and meet needs and desires.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including job skills, toileting, grooming, dressing, eating, medication administration, and transportation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
  • Participate in scheduled staff meetings and required training sessions.
  • Integrate individuals with disabilities into community job sites, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid CPR certificate and a good driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and display a cooperative attitude.
  • Interest in the field of developmental disabilities and a willingness to complete in-service training courses.

Work Environment:

The work environment is an indoor/outdoor setting with a moderate to high noise level. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
