Integrated Resources, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Trauma Care Specialist role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to stable trauma patients, including pre-op and post-op care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians
- Use rapid response teams, blood product administration, and peripheral line care and management as needed
You will be working in a high-volume surgical unit with a diverse patient population, including patients who have undergone exploratory laparotomies, hemicolectomies, mastectomies, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, eye surgeries, trauma, and plastic surgeries.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a surgical or trauma unit
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred
- EPIC system experience required
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
