Job Overview

Package Pavement Co Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A (Flatbed) Driver to join our delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in the tri-state area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer
  • Read delivery tickets to determine assignments and inspect and inventory products loaded on trailers
  • Fasten straps to secure loads on trailers during transit
  • Maintain driver logs and mileage records according to government regulations
  • Operate tractors and trailers safely and efficiently
  • Assist in unloading products on trailers as needed
  • Collect payments for COD deliveries
  • Document returned materials and ensure timely deliveries

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a flatbed driver with a clean MVR and CSA
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
