Job Summary

The Tulane National Primate Research Center is seeking a veterinarian to join its Division of Veterinary Medicine. The successful candidate will provide general medical and surgical care of breeding colony and research animals, as well as research support and training of investigators, laboratory animal medicine residents, veterinary students, and technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general medical and surgical care of breeding colony and research animals
  • Offer research support and training of investigators, laboratory animal medicine residents, veterinary students, and technicians
  • Participate in the conduct of independent or collaborative research
Qualifications

The candidate must hold a DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in one of the 50 states. ACLAM board certification or eligibility is preferred.
