Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at SpartanNash. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing medication counseling, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide medication counseling to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Order and manage inventory of pharmaceutical stock
  • Lead and supervise pharmacy technicians and interns
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy manager and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Pharmacy license in good standing
  • Three years of experience in a pharmaceutical department
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and bending, stooping, and twisting frequently. The work environment is typical of a retail store with moderate noise levels.
