Ultrasound Sonographer Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Worthington, MN.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Sonographer to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide education and support
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Sonographer
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
