Float LPN

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at New York Health in the Manhattan and Queens region. This role will involve:

• Updating and maintaining electronic patient records
• Managing physician inbox and prioritizing tasks assigned via ONCO EMR
• Working in the front office, handling tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients
• Maintaining medical inventory and ordering new materials as needed
• Recording patient information, including vital signs and medical history
• Cleaning and preparing examination rooms
• Escorting patients to exam rooms
• Providing patient education on medications and disease management
• Preparing patients for examinations and performing routine screening tests
• Assisting physicians with exams and procedures
• Administering injections and performing phlebotomy

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current NYS LPN license
• BLS certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with EMRs
• Reliable transportation to any NYH location
