Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Protection Officer to join our site Security Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring employees and contractors entering and exiting the facility, performing security rounds, and issuing safe work permits. Additionally, you will respond to hazardous material, fire, and medical emergencies, and provide treatment for minor injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor employees and contractors entering and exiting the facility
  2. Perform security rounds and issue safe work permits
  3. Respond to hazardous material, fire, and medical emergencies
  4. Provide treatment for minor injuries
  5. Work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime
Requirements
  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preferred
  3. Conflict resolution skills
  4. Team-oriented
  5. Good written and verbal communication skills
  6. Basic computer usage skills
Desired Qualifications
  1. Industrial safety experience or education
  2. Firefighter I or II certification
  3. Professional Military/Polic/Public Safety experience
  4. Hazmat technician level certification and SCBA qualification
  5. Confined Space Rescue
