Machinist Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Machinist Specialist to join our team at Silgan. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Assist in the setup and operation of new equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with new technologies and processes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Work Environment:
