Assembly Production Specialist

Cimtech Inc. is seeking a skilled Assembly Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating lift trucks, assisting in assembly projects, and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
  • Assist in assembly projects as necessary
  • Operate the stretch wrap banders
  • Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
  • Receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit
  • Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods, including following quality protocol
  • Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
  • May be required to make pick ups and deliveries to our suppliers for parts and raw materials using a company truck
  • Maintain company truck (checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle
Requirements:
  • Good team member who is willing to learn and be part of a highly performing team
  • 1 year of experience in assembly desired, but will train
  • Punctual, reliable and conscientious
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs safely, walk and stand for long periods of time, and bend and lift product as needed following safe work methods
  • Ability to follow process and procedures
  • Willing to be forklift certified
  • Willingness to be cross-trained
