Job Title: CDL Delivery Driver

Viking Electric is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering electrical products to customer job sites, shops, and businesses in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver electrical products to customer job sites, shops, and businesses
  • Navigate computer programs to find products and complete orders for customers
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies
  • Perform daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness
  • Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitation
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Maintain D.O.T. Medical Card and Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Valid Class B CDL or above with Airbrake required
  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time
  • Ability to learn use of warehouse and driving technology
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 85 lbs
  • Self-motivated, teamwork focused, and great customer service skills
  • Attention to detail, good time management, accurately use basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 1-year commercial driving experience preferred
