We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Murphy Children's Hospital.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cardiac and vascular sonography procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high-quality images.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance of echo vascular equipment to ensure consistency of quality images.
  • Troubleshoot equipment effectively and report issues to biomedical engineering/vendor.
  • Recognize and report any adverse, unsafe, or unusual conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate and reliable exam results.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a hospital/healthcare environment performing cardiac or vascular sonography.
  • Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography or 5 years specialized training in a hospital/healthcare setting.
  • ARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification, or CCI Registered with RCS Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with the RVS.
