Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Delivery Assistant to join our team at NDCP. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist drivers with the delivery of products into store locations using electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and two-wheel hand trucks.
  • Segregate products into freezer, cooler, dry, and chemicals zones.
  • Identify products on the delivery truck under various lighting conditions.
  • Learn product descriptions and box types to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Lift boxes and bags of varying sizes and weights frequently.
  • Divert traffic to promote a safe working environment for drivers.
  • Navigate through busy parking lots and intersections while delivering products.
  • Operate side and rear lift gates on delivery vehicles.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior mover helper or general labor experience is a plus.
  • 6 months food/beverage experience preferred, 1 year preferred.
  • Ability to follow simple directions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees and external customers.
  • Strong team player.
  • Flexible to varying work schedules.
