Columbus Regional Health Physicians presents an outstanding opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist to become a vital part of our growing team of Hospital Care Physicians.

We are seeking candidates who are board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics. You will be collaborating with a dedicated team of 2 Pediatric Hospitalists and 2 Nurse Practitioners.

Key Features of the Opportunity

  • Work approximately 182 shifts annually, with an average of seven or eight 10-hour day shifts and seven or eight 14-hour night shifts each month. The schedule will typically follow a 7 on 7 off pattern, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs.
  • Responsibilities include rounding on pediatric inpatients, Level 2 nursery, and newborns.
  • Procedures involved: Neonatal Resuscitation, Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, and Circumcision (on-site training provided).
  • Emergency procedures: Needle Thoracentesis and Umbilical Lines.
  • Level II Nursery with an average of 1-3 patients.
  • Pediatric Unit with an average of 1-3 patients, increasing to 4-6 during peak seasons.
  • Conduct Emergency Department Consults.
  • Level I and II Nursery with an average of 1,300 births per year.
  • Utilization of EPIC EMR for patient management.
  • In-house presence is required.
