We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Froedtert Hospital. As a Staff Nurse on our Pulmonary Medicine unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with a range of medical conditions, including pulmonary hypertension, COPD, and CHF.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a pulmonary medicine or internal medicine setting.
