Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Staff Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Staff Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support to our medical staff and allied health staff with credentialing and privileging activities. This includes obtaining timely and accurate primary source verification, completing data entry, and maintaining the medical staff database.

Responsibilities:
  • Interact with IS Consultant to transition manual processes to completion of processes within the physician credentialing data system.
  • Identify trends and assist in the development of action plans for performance improvement.
  • Provide clerical support as needed to the Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Staff in scheduling ad hoc meetings.

Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Licensure/certification not required.
