Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Manager to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As an ISSM, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support to our clients in the areas of information systems security, risk management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement information systems security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential security threats.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security into all aspects of the organization.

  • Provide training and awareness programs to ensure that employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining the security of our systems and data.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies to ensure that our clients receive the best possible security solutions.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the organization.

  • Provide expert-level guidance and support to our clients in the areas of information systems security, risk management, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in information systems security, risk management, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and standards, including NIST, FISMA, and HIPAA.

  • Experience with security assessment and risk management tools and techniques.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification.

  • Experience with cloud security, DevOps, and containerization.

  • Strong knowledge of security automation and orchestration tools and techniques.
