Job Title: Physician (MD/DO)

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician (MD/DO) to join our team at Health Advocates Network in Portland, OR.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations of patients and understand their health conditions based on symptoms and test results.
  • Suggest treatments and provide health advice to patients.
  • Set diagnoses based on medical expertise and knowledge.
  • Access patient medical history and examine, analyze, and interpret lab test results.
  • Prescribe medical treatments, medications, and drugs as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other physicians and team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Keep accurate records of patients' progress and history.
  • Adhere to laws, rules, and regulations governing medical practice.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Develop safe and trusting relationships with patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, technologies, and best practices in medicine.
Requirements:
  • Spanish fluency is required.
  • Experience working in a Federal Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is preferred.
  • One year of experience and DEA registration are required for this position.
