Job Title: Reliability Electrician V

Shaw Industries is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Electrician V to maintain and ensure the capacity of equipment assets in assigned areas of responsibility. This role is critical to optimal efficiencies at the lowest reasonable cost.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute assigned tasks and duties with a focus on safe work practices, high-quality work, and customer service orientation.
  • Adhere to standards and best practices through training and work experience.
  • Share maintenance knowledge and application skills through mentoring Reliability Electrician levels II-IV.
  • Provide feedback on job assignment needs and improvement opportunities with peers and leadership.
  • Maintain manufacturing process and support equipment to highest, reasonable performance levels.
Requirements:
  • Safety practices: LOTO, Confined Space, PPE, Hot Work, PIT, Fall Protection, Hoisting & Rigging Calculator.
  • Measurement units, techniques, and application of appropriate tools.
  • Math skills, including arithmetic and application of formulas.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics/prints.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Advanced understanding of e-stop systems.
