Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Manager to lead our Student Health Services team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing services team, including registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and medical assistants.
  • Develop and implement nursing standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the medical director and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage scheduling to meet patient care needs.
  • Develop and implement infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing and three years of progressively responsible professional nursing experience.
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare leadership, patient care, and staff management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency room, or ambulatory settings.
  • Experience in patient teaching, health education, and health promotion.
  • Knowledge of allergy immunotherapy and experience administering adult immunizations.
  • Ability to perform audiometry and pulmonary function testing and basic physical assessment.
