Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop personalized care plans to address these needs.
  • Implement nursing interventions, medications, and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and other nurses, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Requirements
  • A valid New York State nursing license is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and move patients of various sizes and abilities, as needed.
