Job Overview

Cresten Properties is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze and respond to site issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Adhere to maintenance schedules at properties, ensuring regular upkeep and preventative maintenance.
  • Safely maintain the physical condition and appearance of properties, including grounds and equipment.
  • Inspect property grounds daily to ensure condition is maintained, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance programs, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to conduct incoming and outgoing inspections of spaces, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Submit maintenance invoices for review and approval to the Director of Real Estate Assets.
  • Maintain a positive relationship and timely communication with tenants, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Operate commercial-grade equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers, skid steers, plow trucks, and other equipment as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Operating commercial-grade equipment experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Experience in construction or general maintenance preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products, preferred.
Physical and Travel Demands

Individual must be able to sit, stand, and work in various seasons for 40 hours per week.

Travel demands include daily travel within Sioux Falls and surrounding areas.

This is a non-exempt position.
