Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Springfield Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current certification in ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and RCIS
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Cerner electronic health record system
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 3x12 day shifts with occasional weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
