Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our team at Early Warning Services. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software product applications.

Your primary focus will be on developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, design and implement software solutions, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new software applications to maintaining and enhancing existing ones. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that our software solutions meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software product applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with ReactJS
  • 5+ years of experience with application layer technologies including HTML/CSS, XML, JavaScript, JSON, and REST
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot is preferred
  • Experience with Figma preferred
  • Ability to maintain test scripts as needed
  • Prepares test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test summary documents
  • Experience with automated functional software testing frameworks, such as Cucumber, Selenium, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent programming experience with Javascript/React JS
  • Spring / Spring Boot framework is beneficial
  • Experience with SOAP or REST services
  • Familiar working with common data format standards like XML, JSON, YAML, etc.
  • NoSQL experience (Redis, HBASE, AeroSpike, etc.)
  • Experience with Kafka
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
  • FinTech experience is highly beneficial
