Job Summary

Chimera Enterprises International is seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Specialist to support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, resource allocation, and acquisition processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assist with the management of actions within the Document Staffing and Task Management System (DSTM).
  • Coordination and Communication: Serve as the lead coordinator for all external and internal taskers, and work at a senior level to stimulate organizational efficiency and synergy across the JPEO CBRND and beyond.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying, assessing, developing, and mitigating project and initiative risk.
  • Planning and Development: Assist in the planning, development/refinement, initiation, and execution of new cross-organizational requirements, projects, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in determining appropriate assignments; setting priorities, monitoring progress, and reporting on progress to meet established milestones and deadlines.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Project Management Experience: Seven years of experience in project and resource management, tracking, and familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition process.
  • Technical Skills: Comprehensive working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate familiarity with the JPEO-CBRND organizational structure and roles and responsibilities therein, to include the focus and mission of SSE, Strategic Communications (StratCom) and Foreign Military Sales and International (FMS&I) Teams.
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree and/or 10 years of equivalent work experience.
