Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Opportunity

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in a reputable healthcare institution.

Job Summary

The Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and advocating for evidence-based practice standards.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Initiate assessment based on patient's problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
  • Manage care of patients based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
  • Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in related specialty
  • ASN degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
  • PALS certification
