Position Overview: Ingredient Solutions Associate Formulator for Premix and Applications
Core Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Formulate premix samples in response to client inquiries.
- Develop applications for premix offerings, including powder blends and nutritional bars.
- Oversee and organize premix documentation and raw material inventory.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain professional and prompt communication with both internal and external partners.
- Work alongside co-manufacturing partners to facilitate project execution.
- Propose enhancements for process efficiency.
- Engage with the procurement team regarding raw material acquisition.
- Ensure precise pricing and documentation for premix products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 2-6 years of experience in the food or dietary supplements sector.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, cGMP, and GLP standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in software tools such as Word, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Exceptional communication and collaborative skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Enthusiasm for promoting efficiency and ongoing improvement.
- Experience in Research & Development, Regulatory Affairs, or Product Development is advantageous.
Work Environment:
- Standard business hours with flexibility for project deadlines.
- Dynamic work setting with potential exposure to noise and dust.
- Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 30lbs may be necessary.
