Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our orthodontic department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in delivering high-quality treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clinicians with orthodontic procedures, including untangling and tying arch-wires, bending and placing arch-wires, and fitting bands.
  • Prepare for and assist with bonding, taking impressions, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Take x-rays and develop x-rays, as well as take intraoral and extraoral photographs.
  • Utilize computer imaging systems to support treatment planning and patient education.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Pour up models and inventory supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 6 months of specific orthodontic experience.
  • Ability to travel within assigned areas.
