Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Services department at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a CVOR Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities

As a CVOR Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of intra-operative cardiac patients
  • Assisting surgeons in operative procedures with patients
  • Maintaining and reviewing patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
  • Administering medications in accordance with physician orders
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
  • Have a nursing diploma or ASN, with a BSN preferred
  • Have previous experience in an acute care setting, with critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Hold current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
