Job Overview

ANG SIGNAL LLC is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to support the federal government in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will provide network engineering and support of the enterprise network to facilitate the science mission of our federal client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for network and cabling issues
  • Support LAN and WAN infrastructure, remote sites, and data centers
  • Troubleshoot network and cabling problems and collaborate with department administrators to facilitate troubleshooting efforts
  • Participate in lab configuration and testing of new technologies
  • Develop network topology diagrams, write Standard Operating Procedures, and provide status reports as required
  • Participate in data calls and other operational and maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in a Network Engineering role
  • 3+ years of experience with Cisco/Juniper Routing and Switching technologies
  • Ability to communicate designs and network concepts to various audiences, including peers and customers, verbally and in writing
  • Experience configuring and running firewalls is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols/technologies
  • Experience with Aruba Wireless networks is a plus
  • General understanding of project management processes and terminology
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is desirable
