Position Summary

Proof of the Pudding is a distinguished catering firm recognized across the Southeast for its dedication to crafting exceptional culinary experiences from the ground up. This commitment extends into the realm of Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services, where we elevate the standard of concessions and premium offerings at various prestigious events, including collegiate sports, professional tournaments, and more.

We are currently seeking Elite Bartenders to deliver outstanding customer service in premium hospitality settings during athletic events. This role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive on-the-job training in one of North Carolina's most picturesque venues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pre-event and post-event bar setup and breakdown.
• Efficiently prepare the bar area, ensuring all products are properly chilled.
• Collaborate effectively with bar back staff to maintain inventory levels throughout events.
• Provide a warm welcome to all guests and ensure exceptional service.
• Remain attentive to guest needs during the entire event.
• Clean the bar area post-event, including disposing of excess ice.
• Document closing inventory accurately.
• Organize and store all inventory as directed.
• Adhere to all federal, local, and venue-specific alcohol regulations.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience.
• TIPs/TEAM certification required (training available).
• Familiarity with upscale and VIP service standards is essential.

Work Environment

This role involves event operations, primarily within a stadium or similar venues, requiring mobility across various terrains.

Uniform Standards

Compliance with company uniform policies as outlined in the Associate Handbook is mandatory.

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and navigate event spaces.
• Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Engagement in various physical tasks, including bending and lifting.
