DBL Associates is seeking a highly skilled Certified Application Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare access team, you will be responsible for conducting phone interviews and applications, as well as face-to-face interviews at our client hospital/clinic or at patients' homes in the Bronx and Yonkers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview applicants to pre-determine eligibility for Government Medical Assistance Programs and the Marketplace
- Gather any documentation requested by the State to finalize a Medicaid Application/Marketplace Application
- Utilize strong communication and organization skills to ensure successful outcomes
- Must have reliable transportation for driving to appointments at patients' homes
Requirements:
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) a MUST
- Strong communication and organization skills a must
